The Kantare Vivace S classical guitar is a high-quality instrument designed with an emphasis on a penetrating and open sound and good playability. This is achieved by a comfortably rounded neck profile and a subtle layer of wood finish. The manufacturer also pays attention to ecological processing and the use of natural materials. The guitar is primarily intended for classical and jazz players.

Features
The 4/4 size body has a spruce top, while the back and sides are made of mahogany. The neck of the guitar is made of mahogany and has a rosewood fingerboard. The guitar is tuned using a rosewood bridge, a 52 mm wide nut, and a set of black and gold Hauser-type tuners. For easier orientation, the fifth and seventh positions of the fingerboard are marked with white dots on the side of the neck. The design of the guitar adheres to the simple elegance of classic guitars. The instrument is finished in Natural with a shellac varnish.

The story of Kantare guitars began in 1986 in Helsinki, Finland. It was in this year that luthier Kauko Liikanen decided to leave his day job and fulfill his dream of making classical guitars full-time in his own workshop. For fifteen years, he passionately researched sound and its properties before collaborating with classical guitarist Uwe Florath to develop the Lens Resonance System (LRS) soundboard, which was patented in 2001. It was the invention of this design and its further development that led to the founding of Kantara in 2006. In more than thirty years, Liikanen Guitars has handcrafted more than 1,000 classical guitars.
